It took one last attempt – or #OneLarsTry – for Lars Pacheco to finally capture the Miss International Queen Philippines crown. After finishing as a semifinalist last year, expectations were already set for her to not only succeed but also flourish.
Emerging as the favorite to win this year, Lars rose above the pressure and did not disappoint. Coming back stronger and more determined, she was able to uphold her status, doing so remarkably. Transforming into a worthy candidate, Lars delivered a solid performance and looked nothing less but a winner.
In helping her achieve that coronation glow, she wore a breathtaking evening gown. Already proving that she is, indeed, the right woman for the job.

A creation of designer Ushi Sato, the Sakura pink evening gown is described as an ode to all women. A stunning vision with an empowering message, the gown perfectly complements March as National Women’s Month.
According to him, the color is a reminisce of the cherry blossoms, which blooms on the first day of spring and symbolizes a new beautiful beginning. Fully draped in beads and crystallized details, he further explains that:
“Pink is for healing, innocence, and peace like we always wish to the world. Pink for women who are kind, compassionate, nurturing and loving. This pink gown, is a cherry blossom of hope and new beginning, healing and peace.”
With a tough task on her hands, Lars will be heading to Thailand in June for Miss International Queen 2023. In aiming to score a back-to-back victory, this comes with a brand-new load of pressure and responsibility.
