KathNiel reunites on screen with their full action project ‘Balikbayad’
KathNiel is back!
It’s been a long time since the last time we’ve seen Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla together on screen. But this time, the popular love team and real-life couple just dropped a teaser for their newest project.
Kathryn revealed on her Instagram last February 3 the poster of their latest project with Daniel ‘Balikbayad‘ which is set to release on February 5.
“We’re back with a new action-packed project! Excited to share this with you guys on February 5!” she wrote.

In fact, this will be the first time that KathNiel will star in a full-action genre project. Aside from them, veteran action star Rez Cortez will also join the casting team. According to Push, some scenes from the project were partly shot in Mexico.
After starring in their recent solo project in Hello, Love, Goodbye for Kathryn and Weather the weather is Fine (soon in cinemas) for Daniel, the unbreakable love team will also be having their primetime TV series comeback via the Tanging Mahal this 2020. Their last project together was La Luna Sangre in 2018.
