Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin, the famous Ri-Ri couple from hit Korean series “Crash Landing on You” has turned their onscreen romance into a real-life relationship, reports said on Friday.

Korean entertainment website Dispatch revealed on New Year’s Day that lead stars Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin are dating months after their K-drama wrapped up — keeping the secret away from their fans for eight months now. This was confirmed by their agencies based on statements sent to websites Soompi and Koreaboo.

“Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin formed a relationship through work which developed into lovers with good feelings after their drama ended,” Hyun’s agency, VAST Entertainment, said.

“We ask that you look warmly upon their relationship and cheer them on in the future,” it added.

Son Ye Jin’s agency MS Team Entertainment echoed VAST Entertainment’s statement.

“The two of them got to know each other through their acting projects, and after the end of their drama, they developed an interest in each other and ended up dating,” it said.

Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin, both 38, starred in the 2018 film, “The Negotiation.” They reunited in 2019 for the now-beloved series “Crash Landing on You,” where they played Captain Ri Jeong-hyeok and Yoon Se-ri, who crash landed in the demilitarization zone in North Korea.
