INSTAGRAM RAID: Let’s learn how to dress up like Zoë Kravitz

We all know who Zoë Isabella Kravitz is. She iconically portrayed Catwoman in the live-action DC film The Batman. Born to equally iconic parents, actress Lisa Bonet and musician Lenny Kravitz. In 2007, she landed her first film role in the romantic comedy film, No Reservations. Aside from acting at a young age, she also started her musical career at the age of sixteen. She has performed with tons of bands but has just dubbed music as her hobby.

Her rise to prominence started in 2013 when she co-starred in post-apocalyptic After Earth with father-and-son duo Will Smith and Jaden Smith. In the same year, she released a jewelry line collaboration with the Swarovski crystal company. She used ethnic and vintage jewelry, as well as her birthstone Turquoise, as inspiration for her designs. Then, a year later, she portrayed a character named Christina in another post-apocalyptic film Divergent alongside Shailene Woodley and Theo James.

Despite being descended from American showbiz royalty, she has obviously earned the respect of Hollywood through her talent and hard work. And, of course, we can’t forget her prominence when it comes to fashion, too. She has an innate sense of style that’s all her own. Anyone can see that in paparazzi shots and her red carpet moments. Although she doesn’t usually post on Instagram, her looks shared on the platform are nothing short of iconic.

Selina Kyle

As the first photo she officially shared on Instagram, Zoë shared a photo of her The Batman character. She wore a white ribbed crop top. But, what made this look so iconic is the hair and makeup that she did with it. Her black hair was in a long bob with her side part swept behind her ears. She had bold and smoky eye makeup with shimmering inner corners and a nude lip.

Slicked back

As she promotes The Batman, Zoë posts a photo of one of her looks. She wore her hair in a slicked-back manner and an almost-natural makeup look. She has eyeliner that made her look feline-like. Kravitz also wore a ribbed knitted off-the-shoulder corset long-sleeved top that might actually be a dress. She brings a pop of color with bright red polish on her nails.

Zoë Kravitz and Robert Pattinson

The chemistry between these two is just undeniable. And, a simple photo from Entertainment Weekly definitely shows that. They’re just looking at each other’s lips with their eyes half-closed. But, looking at Zoë alone, she had her hair in a slicked-back high bun. She wore a black tube top that matches her bottoms. Their chemistry is making me wish that what they have is a real thing. But, to be honest, I’m enjoying just looking at them.

The Matrix

Zoë channels Trinity from The Matrix vibes when she visited Paris last February. She wore a long black leather trench coat, lacing the tie around her waist. She also wore what seem to be a mesh top and mesh tights underneath. Then, she completed her all-black ensemble with a glossy pair of heels.

An Oscar dela Renta muse

This was the best dress she could have ever worn for the New York premiere of The Batman. The dress was very Catwoman-esque with a plunging lace-up neckline and kitty heads as a brassiere. Of course, her makeup made her look feline-like, especially with the slicked-back hair and styled edges. She went for minimal jewelry, showing off her defined clavicle.

YSL

Zoë wore YSL head-to-toe. She had a long-sleeved see-through mesh top, a pair of denim jeans, and pointed-toe heels. Her hair remained slicked back with a small bun and strands of hair framing her beautiful face. She wore a pair of sunglasses over her feline-like eyes and slung a YSL tote bag over her shoulder. This definitely encapsulated the whole cool girl chic that she truly is.
