Incredible voices Regine Velasquez and Sam Concepcion shows support for the Leni-Kiko tandem
More and more celebrities come forward to show their support for presidential aspirant, Mother of Pink, Leni Robredo. Two of which are Sam Concepcion and Asia’s Songbird, Regine Velasquez.
The songstress has declared her support for Leni Robredo and her running mate Sen. Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan.
Consequently, in an Instagram video she uploaded, Regine detailed,
“Ako po si Regine Velasquez-Alcasid at itinataas ko po ang kamay ni Kiko hanggang huli. Dahil mas liliwanag ang kulay ng buhay kapag si Leni at si Kiko ang ipapanalo natin.”
Subsequently, in the comment section of the singer’s post, Kiko Pangilinan expressed his gratitude. The senator wrote,
“Maraming salamat Regine! Salamat sa tiwala at suporta. Malaking bagay para sa amin ni Sharon at pamilya. Tanggal pagod at hirap ang inyong tulong ni Ogie.”
Meanwhile, Sam Concepcion also joins the Kakampink movement. As seen in his Instagram Stories, Sam was shown going house to house in some towns in Pampanga to campaign for the Leni-Kiko tandem.
After that, on Saturday night, the singer joined the team in their grand rally in San Fernando.
Leni and Kiko were welcomed in the parol capital of the Philippines by a whopping 220,000 supporters. This is the biggest crowd the tandem has gathered so far, topping the Pasig rally audience with about 80,000-130,000.
The Leni-Kiko tandem was introduced and entered the stage together, the first time since the duo began touring for their Halalan 2022 campaign.
In subsequent rallies, Kiko makes his speech first, before Leni is introduced often by local officials, and then makes an entrance.
Aside from Sam Concepcion, the star-studded Pampanga rally was also attended by Nadine Lustre and celebrity relatives of Pangilinan. Of course, this includes his wife, Mega Star Sharon Cuneta, and niece Gab Pangilinan.
Regine Velasquez and Sam Concepcion join the likes of Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano, hearthrob Donny Pangilinan, OPM rock icon Ely Buendia, pop icon Kuh Ledesma, and screen veterans Cherry Pie Picache and Edu Manzano who have voiced support for the two candidates.
Of course, more celebrities are expected to come forward as the elections fast approach. Let’s all hope for a better future… and wish it’s pink.
