Four Candidates win MUPH 2022 Interview Challenge
The Miss Universe Philippines organization announces its top 4 winners for the interview challenge. In this final online challenge, the candidates show composure under pressure while exhibiting their quick wit and intelligence.

In contrast to past challenges, this is the first time that a Top 4 has emerged. There is also no specific winner, and the voting was solely based on the judges’ assessments—omitting the public votes.
Topping this round were Albay’s Julia Saubier and Davao Del Norte’s Jeanne Orcena. As well as Guguinto, Bulacan’s Aidyl Sanchez, and Ilo-Ilo Province’s Vanessa Caro.
As all five challenges have been completed, the number of candidates will now trim down from 50 to 30 candidates. Two more activities take place prior to the pageant: the preliminary competition and the national costume presentation.
Miss Universe Philippines Official KUMU Candidate
On March 12, the organization launches an online campaign, giving pageant hopefuls one more chance to enter the competition. In the end, Shawntel Cruz won and is the official KUMU candidate for this year’s edition.
This means that she is the first of the Final 30 candidates.
On April 30, the coronation night of Miss Universe Philippines 2022 will take place at the Mall of Asia Arena.
