Elda Aznar is crowned Miss CosmoWorld Philippines 2023
Elda Louise Aznar, a 27-year-old model and former flight attendant from Davao del Sur has been named as the inaugural winner of Miss CosmoWorld Philippines 2023. Besting out 20 other candidates for the title, the pageant’s grand coronation night took place on October 12 at the Aliw Theater in Pasay City.
Succeeding reigning Miss CosmoWorld 2022 Meiji Cruz, Elda will be representing the country at Miss CosmoWorld 2023 which will be taking place this November in Malaysia.
Elda Aznar wins Miss CosmoWorld Philippines 2023
With the big responsibility of aiming for a back-to-back win, this shouldn’t be a problem for the pageant veteran, whose years of experience have been building up for this moment. Competing in some of the biggest national pageants in the country, this includes Miss Philippines Earth in 2021 and Binibining Pilipinas in 2022.
Aside from the crown and sash, Elda will also be bringing home an amazing cash prize of one million pesos.
Carrascal, Surigao del Sur’s Jasmine Omay comes in second, placing as first runner-up while Albay’s Lienel Navidad is hailed as second runner-up.
