Catriona Gray to have stint as Miss South Africa pre-show host
This October, Catriona Gray will fulfill the role of pre-show host for the Miss South Africa pageant.
The Miss Universe 2018 will be hosting alongside Miss Universe 2019 Zozibini Tunzi.
Miss South Africa made the announcement on their official Instagram page last Monday, September 27.
Moreover, Catriona will also appear with Tunzi on the pageant’s finale show.
The pageant’s organization wrote on their official Instagram,
“Yesssss! It’s happening! [Catriona Gray] will be our official [Miss South Africa 2021] Pre-show Host! She will also be joining [Zozibini Tunzi] backstage during the finale show to give you all the behind-the-scenes scoop!”
The Miss South Africa 2021 pageant will take place at the GrandWest Grand Arena in Cape Town, South Africa this October 16.
Also, on her Instagram page, Catriona expressed excitement over returning to South Africa.
Previously, she visited the country in August 2019 to serve as a judge in a local beauty pageant.
“Hey South Africa! I’m so so excited to be returning to your beautiful Rainbow Nation as your PRE-SHOW and BACKSTAGE HOST for the upcoming [Miss South Africa 2021] Pageant,”
Catriona has been active in the pageantry scene, even after her reign as Miss Universe 2018.
She had stints as a judge in local Miss Universe pageants in Colombia and Thailand in the past two years.
Furthermore, she co-hosted the Binibining Pilipinas 2021 pageant last July 2021 alongside Miss Grand International 2016 Nicole Cordoves.
