The Plastics have been our style icons since director Mark Waters released Mean Girls in 2004. Based on Rosalind Wiseman‘s novel, the A-list girl clique famously wears pink on Wednesdays. The movie remains a hilarious one, providing an insight to the lives of millennial high school girls. With inter girl gang politics, the fashion perfectly encapsulate what high school might look like if you looked like a popular crowd.

On Wednesdays, we wear pink. It has become one of the most memorable lines from Mean Girls. Their fashion rules had to be strictly followed, otherwise you’ll be out of the gang. More than fifteen years later, women (and men) all around the world have been doing the same thing. Now, here are some pink outfits that you can wear on Wednesdays to honor the original Plastics; Regina, Karen, and Gretchen.
Girl Boss Edition
Whether you’re a working girl or not, a pink suit will definitely look good on you. Zendaya wore a triple breasted pastel pink blazer and a matching trousers. She had a half-up ponytail and let the other half loosely curled.
Jade West, we mean Fallon Carrington, oh– Elizabeth Gillies definitely looks good on fuchsia suit as she takes a rest on a huge couch. She completed the suit with a pair black velvet stiletto heels.
This 15-year-old actress and producer Marsai Martin wore an asymmetrical dress. She completed the look down with a clear-framed pair of glasses with a low ponytail.
Casual Day Edition
If Mean Girls was set in 2020, Kylie Jenner would probably be the front-runner to be an inspiration for Regina George. A pink denim jacket and a pair of black skirt seemed so simple and casual for a Kardashian-Jenner. However, it would be perfect for a casual day out to anybody else.
Hollywood’s IT Girl Zendaya totally embodied that sexy casual look with a mini pink and black dress.
Kylie Jenner also rocked a matching pink cropped top and joggers. She, then, completed her whole look with a pair of white sneakers.
Night Out Edition
The goddess Rihanna herself slayed the whole pink satin mini dress look. She also completed her look with long braids and a huge ass dangle earring.
The bad gal never disappoints in pink as she shows off her curves in a fuchsia top and a pair of leather pants. Can’t you tell how hot she looks?!
Be a classy bitch and wear a mini dress that fits your curve and flares at the bottom. Just like Elizabeth Gillies‘ outfit, she completed with a classy clutch and an open-toed stiletto heel.
Skai Jackson showed off her clavicle with a mini dress with a sweetheart neckline. She complimented her look with a dangling earring and a pair of pink stilettos.
Summer Getaway Edition
Beyonce definitely wowed us with a two-piece beach cover-up. Of course, the Queen Bee looked heavenly with her long hair flowing through the wind.
Formal Attire Edition
A fuchsia tulle gown looked stellar on Awkwafina as she points towards something off-camera. Aside from that, she holds a heavenly burger that definitely deserves a photo shoot.
Of course, Kendall Jenner slayed the tulle mini dress. If Regina George wore this to the Spring Fling, she would probably win.
