#BarDa Layag: Barbie Forteza, David Licauco star new Ben&Ben music video
Rising onscreen couple BarDa or the romantic duo of Barbie Forteza and David Licauco will star in a new project.
On Saturday, Universal Records Philippines revealed that BarDa would collaborate with the acclaimed folk-rock band Ben&Ben. In particular, the two will be the main feature of the band’s music video for an official song rendition.
“Your #BarDa hearts will be filled with so much joy! Ben&Ben’s The Way You Look At Me official music video starring Barbie Forteza and David Licauco. Coming soon this March!”
Along with the announcement is the unveiling of the teaser poster.

On the other hand, Barbie and David promoted the offering on their respective social media pages. Their separate captions read: “It’s as if my heart knows you’re the missing piece” and “Her eyes say everything without a single word.”
Meanwhile, Christian Bautista, who sang The Way You Look At Me in 2004, voiced his support for the upcoming MV. He stressed his excitement, saying he can’t wait to share the “magical project” where he plays special participation.
BarDa is the portmanteau of the trending love team comprising Kapuso actors Barbie and David. The two previously worked together on several programs, including Heartful Cafe in 2021 and Mano Po Legacy: The Family Fortune in 2022.
Eventually, the pairing of BarDa rose to extreme popularity through the hit historical fantasy series Maria Clara At Ibarra. In this drama, David and Barbie showed great chemistry as Fidel and Klay, soon giving birth to the kilig-infusing tandem of FiLay.
Despite the show’s recent conclusion, fans continue to express their admiration for BarDa.
