So, freshies, it’s time to mark your calendars! The Freshie Welcome Assembly will take place from August 16 to 18, offering a comprehensive introduction to everything UP has to offer. The event will be a perfect platform for you to meet your fellow freshmen, interact with other UP students, and engage with seasoned alums who will gladly serve as your mentors on this new academic journey. This year’s assembly holds a special significance as it marks the return of a face-to-face event since its inception, following the challenges posed by the pandemic. Online commemorations will kick off on August 16 and 17, setting the stage for the grand face-to-face gathering on August 18 at UP Diliman’s Alcantara Hall.
