Music from West to South will cross-border as Adele, multi-awarded English singer and songwriter, is set to perform on the Korean music program Show! Music Core.

This is not her first time
Leading Korean broadcaster Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation or MBC, first teased the collaboration through an official announcement made on Twitter.

As of writing, the tweet garnered more than 22,000 likes, over 10,000 retweets, and hundreds of replies. Hence, the news instantly flabbergasted the internet users. In particular to this are active K-pop fans, who are also fond of the multi-awarded singer’s talent and reputation.
However, a media company said it is not the first time for MBC to have Adele on their program. In an article released by Koreaboo, the show Bae Cheol Soo‘s Music Cam supposedly aired her exclusive interview last 2016.
Now five years have passed, and the singer’s second appearance is confirmed. But unlike her prior on-screen exposure, this one is possibly in-person.

Meanwhile, South Korean news portal Naver further elaborated the details on an article posted on November 13. Adele will be reportedly sharing the stage with MAMAMOO’s Hwasa for a special production duet.
Additionally, this is apart from their solo performance of each of their song. From her brand new album “30,” Adele will sing her new single “Easy On Me.”

And while fans anticipate the much-awaited broadcast, netizens shared their entertaining take on Adele’s appearance in Music Core.
For instance, user @sunghlov posted a screen capture of “adele sunbaenim” as it trends under the pop category in Twitter following the news.
Another user joined the fun by posting a funny edit of Adele in the music show, along its current hosts. They captured the tweet “from the other side! annyeonghaseyo, adele-imnida!‘ which has gathered large engagements on the platform.
Aside from “annyeong from the other side” and “adele-sunbaenim” banters, the term “Adele Unnie” also trended on Twitter.
A Korean user said on their tweet “Adele Unnie what are you doing here?” along with a screenshot of an article mentioning the singer’s appearance on the program.
Indeed, the public can’t seem to wait for the d-day to come. Everyone is just so excited!
Lastly, the music show will happen Saturday of November 27. It will be broadcast by the MBC network at 2:15 PM PST.
