ABS-CBN re-airs ‘Sineskwela,’ ‘Bayani,’ ‘Hiraya Manawari’

Due to coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic, the whole Luzon has been enhanced community quarantine. One of the most compromised sectors in this government resolution is the students — classes are suspended until the mid of April. For this reason, most parents are now seeking out online, apps, and games to try and hopefully keep their children’s minds engaged while cooped up inside their homes. Worry no more. Due to insistent public demand, ABS-CBN just announced that they will be re-running our favorite childhood educational programs such as “Sine’skwela,” “Bayani,” and “Hiraya Manawari.” Of course, this is one way of the TV broadcasting giant to help parents and students in this time of crisis.

The award-winning kid-friendly programs will begin airing on ABS-CBN channel 2. They were previously only available on Knowledge Channel and online via TFC. Catch these shows starting March 28, back-to-back-to-back, from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.

FYI, “Sine’skwela” attempts to simplify scientific concepts via the colorful adventures of a cast of lovable and ever-curious characters. “Bayani” uses time travel as a way to introduce Philippine history and our country’s heroes.

“Hiraya Manawari” is a fairy tale series focusing on teaching life lessons.

The cancellation of school in Luzon has been a result of the COVID-19 outbreak. In fact, as of today, more than 1,000 confirmed cases in the country.
