Coffee Plz 2026 Brings Coffee and New Discoveries with Maya Black
A Bigger Coffee Plz Returns to Makati
Coffee Plz 2026 welcomed local and international coffee roasters, matcha makers, bakeries, equipment brands, and coffee enthusiasts for three days at Ayala Malls Circuit in Makati from September 4 to 6.

Now on its second edition, the festival carried the them
e “A Festival for the Curious,” reflecting its expanded lineup and focus on introducing visitors to different names, products, and styles within the coffee scene.
The 2026 edition featured Philippine roasters alongside international participants from Australia, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, the United Arab Emirates, and Vietnam. Matcha, bakeries, and coffee equipment were also included in the festival lineup.
Coffee Plz also introduced a tasting system that allowed attendees to sample smaller servings from participating merchants. Tasting tokens were priced at ₱100, with servings generally ranging from 30 to 50ml, g
iving visitors the opportunity to try different coffees
without committing to a full cup from every booth.
The event occupied the Activity Center and Breezeway of Ayala Malls Circuit, with participating businesses organized into different sections. The setup included areas for Philippine roasters, international participants, matcha, bakeries, and equipment brands.
Maya Black and the Coffee Plz Experience
Maya Black was part of Coffee
Plz 2026 with exclusive benefits designed around purchases made during the three-day festival.
Through the Coffee Plz promotion, Maya Black Credit Cardholders could earn up to 10X Maya Miles when making qualified purchases at participating Coffee Plz merchants. The accumulated miles could also be used to pay at participating merchants, giving cardholders another option for settling their purchases during the event.
The Maya booth also offered a Coffee Tasting Stub for a Signature Maya Drink from Yardstick or Jacque and Matcha. Visitors could qualify for the free tasting by applying for a Maya Black Credit Card, purchasing a Maya Wallet Card, or presenting a Coffee Plz purchase worth at least ₱1,500 made with any Maya Card.
For Maya Wallet Cardholders, the promotion also offered 1% cashback on eligible purchases, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.
These benefits were particularly relevant at Coffee Plz, where attendees could make several purchases across different merchants throughout the day. Instead of using Maya Black solely for a single transact
ion, cardholders could earn miles across qualified purchases and later use those miles at participating merchants.
Maya’s presence also extended into the event’s coffee and matcha offerings through the Signature Maya Drinks available from Yardstick and Jacque and Matcha. This gave visitors another reason to
stop by the Maya booth while exploring the festival.

Yōko Matcha among the matcha names that joined the festival. The brand specializes in Japanese matcha and offers matcha products through its retail and wholesale channels.
The addition of matcha reflected the wider range of beverages now represented within the specialty café space. At Coffee Plz, visitors could move between coffee and matcha offerings while exploring the different merchants participating in the festival.
Matcha was also represented through Jacque and Matcha, which collaborated with Maya for one of the Signature Maya Drinks available to qualified attendees at the Maya booth.
Baker on East Brings Doughnuts to the Festival
Baker on East added a selection of pastries and doughnuts to Coffee Plz 2026, providing a food component alongside the festival’s extensive beverage lineup.

Located in Salcedo Village, Makati, Baker on East is known for its doughnuts, small-batch pastries, and specialty coffee. Its doughnut selection includes rotating flavors, with the bakery’s signature doughnut base described as soft, bouncy, and chewy.
The bakery’s presence at Coffee Plz gave attendees an option to pair their coffee or matcha with something from its pastry selection. Its doughnuts also added variety to an event where visitors could spend several hours moving between coffee and beverage exhibitors.
A Festival Built Around Discovery
The 2026 edition of Coffee Plz expanded the festival beyond its first run, bringing a larger selection of local and international roasters to Ayala Malls Circuit while introducing matcha, bakeries, and equipment into the lineup.
Its international roster included businesses from 10 markets, while the Philippine lineup brought together established roasters, newer businesses, and operators from outside Metro Manila.
The festival’s tasting format also allowed attendees to sample coffees in smaller portions, making it possible to explore multiple exhibitors throughout the event. With tokens priced at ₱100 and sample servings generally ranging from 30 to 50ml, visitors could build their own tasting route around the venue.
For Maya Black cardholders, the experience came with additional rewards. Qualified purchases at participating merchants could earn up to 10X Maya Miles, while those miles could be used for payments at participating Coffee Plz merchants. Maya Wallet Cardholders could also receive 1% cashback on eligible purchases during the promotion.
With its combination of Philippine and international roasters, matcha, pastries, brewing equipment, and event-specific payment benefits, Coffee Plz 2026 gave visitors a wider look at the businesses and products shaping the current coffee scene.
Maya Black added another practical advantage to the experience, allowing cardholders to earn rewards while making their Coffee Plz purchases and use those rewards toward participating merchants. For a festival centered on sampling and discovery, it made each qualifying purchase work a little harder.
