Sharp Philippines Corporation proudly announces the successful completion of its Corporate Social Responsibility CSR initiative conducted every Friday throughout February 2026. The month-long activity concluded with the turnover of Sharp Plasmacluster Air Purifiers to clinics and medical institutions, supporting their efforts to maintain cleaner and healthier indoor environments for patients and healthcare professionals.

This initiative reflects Sharp Philippines’ continuing commitment to community support and public health. Medical facilities serve individuals of all ages and health conditions each day. Because of this, maintaining good indoor air quality is essential in helping create a safer and more comfortable environment inside consultation rooms, waiting areas, and treatment spaces.

Plasmacluster Ion Technology

Sharp’s Plasmacluster Air Purifiers are equipped with Plasmacluster Ion Technology, designed to help reduce airborne viruses, bacteria, mold, allergens, and unpleasant odors. Unlike ordinary air filtration systems that simply trap particles, Plasmacluster technology actively releases positive and negative ions into the air. These ions help neutralize harmful airborne substances, contributing to cleaner air within enclosed spaces.

Indoor air quality plays an important role in healthcare settings. Clinics regularly welcome patients with respiratory concerns, allergies, infections, and weakened immune systems. Cleaner air can help lessen the presence of airborne contaminants, support existing sanitation practices, and reduce common irritants that may trigger allergies or discomfort. By improving air circulation and purification inside clinic spaces, healthcare providers can offer a more reassuring atmosphere for both patients and staff.

Throughout the February activities, official turnover sessions, held with each recipient institution. During these visits, Sharp representatives conducted product presentations to explain how the Plasmacluster Air Purifiers function and how they can be properly maintained. The discussions also emphasized the importance of air quality management as part of preventive healthcare and infection control efforts. By understanding how the technology works, clinic administrators and staff members better equipped to maximize the benefits of the units inside their facilities.

Extended Support

The participating clinics and medical institutions expressed their appreciation for the support extended to them. Many shared that enhancing indoor air quality is a valuable addition to their current cleaning and safety measures. They also recognized that providing a cleaner and fresher environment can improve overall patient experience and contribute to greater peace of mind during consultations and treatments.
