BEING ICE: LIVE! Unfolds as Unique Two-Night Concert Experience
This September, beloved Filipino music icon Ice Seguerra returns to the live stage with his most personal concert yet: BEING ICE: LIVE!, a two-night concert experience on September 12 and 13 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater, Newport World Resorts (formerly Resorts World Manila).
This concert is a deeply personal concert memoir told across two unique nights, each offering a distinct experience. Together, it is a complete portrait of an artist who has grown in public and healed in private.
“This is the most honest I’ve ever been,” says Ice Seguerra. “For 38 years, I’ve sung so many songs — but this is the first time I’m singing my own story, the one behind the persona you’ve known all these years”.
SEPTEMBER 12 – ICE SEGUERRA: VIDEOKE HITS LIVE
The first night kicks off with a full-blown birthday celebration: a karaoke-inspired concert party filled with OPM throwbacks, iconic duets, guilty pleasures, and the timeless hits that defined a generation.
Audiences can expect a nostalgic, high-energy night where no one sings alone. From Pagdating ng Panahon to the crowd favorites we’ve all screamed in our cars or cried to in secret, this night is about joy, connection, and the power of shared memory.
“Let’s be honest, I’m a karaoke addict,” Ice laughs. “This night is for everyone who’s ever held a mic at a family reunion, belted out a ballad off-key, or sang their way through heartbreak. It’s my birthday — let’s celebrate it together.”
With confetti, cake, surprise guests, and full audience interaction, VIDEOKE HITS LIVE is a larger-than-life videoke party — a reunion between Ice and his fans, a night of noise, nostalgia, and no-judgment singing.
“I’m really excited to do this concert again because it’s my mama’s favorite,” Ice shares. “She loves seeing me close to my fans, singing with them. Lagi niyang sinasabi sa akin, ‘Sa Videoke Hits, lumalapit ka sa mga nakikinig sa’yo. Sa mga tagahanga mo.’ That’s why this show means so much. It’s not just about the songs — it’s about sharing moments with my fans na rason kung bakit nandito pa rin ako hanggang ngayon.”

If Night One is a celebration, Night Two is a confession. THE ICE SEGUERRA EXPERIENCE takes the stage with stripped-down storytelling, heartfelt arrangements, and a focus on Ice’s most personal work to date — including the first-ever live performance of his all-original album, BEING ICE.
This is Ice at his rawest: a deeply vulnerable journey through the songs he wrote about identity, healing, and becoming, years in the making, and now finally ready to be shared.
“Writing these songs scared me,” Ice admits. “Because they weren’t about anyone else — they were about me: my pain, joy, journey. For years, I didn’t know how to say these things in real life. So I wrote them in songs. And now, I’m ready to sing them.”

According to producer and Fire and Ice CEO Liza Diño, BEING ICE: LIVE! is more than an artistic milestone — it’s a cultural reckoning.
“We’ve seen Ice grow from child star to chart-topping hitmaker to LGBTQIA+ trailblazer,” Diño shares. “But BEING ICE: LIVE! is something else. It peels back the layers. It’s about the human being behind the persona.”
She draws a connection to Ice’s 2019 concert Becoming Ice, which marked his 35th year in the industry. “Becoming Ice celebrated his journey as an artist. But Being Ice reveals the other side — the person. The heart. The point of view that shaped the music we all know.”
She continues, “What makes this special is that it’s not just one big night. It’s two completely different journeys that show all sides of Ice — the fun, the fearless, the emotional, the empowering. We want the audience to leave feeling like they didn’t just watch a concert. They became part of a story.”
The concert will also be filmed for a documentary which will chronicle Ice’s 38-year journey — from breakout child actor to one of OPM’s most enduring and beloved voices. The documentary will include never-before-seen moments, behind-the-scenes stories, and the intimate truths behind the songs.
