Chris Evans is the ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ of 2022!
Chris Evans may no longer be our bold, heroic captain, but he’s got another deserving medal of valor being named the Sexiest Man Alive of 2022.
On November 8, the weekly American magazine PEOPLE named the 41-year-old actor the new owner of the ever-anticipated title. The cover image they posted quotes, “the universe has spoken,” referring to how Chris Evans was rightfully selected for the recognition.
Moreover, an article published in PEOPLE’s online portal two days ago revealed more information about this year’s Sexiest Man Alive edition. In an interview, Evans detailed his feelings about getting the title, adding that this news will delight at least one person in his life:
“My mom will be so happy! She’s proud of everything I do, but this is something she can really brag about,” Evans said. In addition, he shared his thoughts about being complimented “sexy.”
“This whole thing is tough to be interviewed about. It feels like a weird form of humble bragging.”
Evans played many roles on both television and in movies. However, he is most prominent for giving life to Steve Rogers, more known as Captain America. The fictional character is a crucial figure in Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), which he portrayed until 2019.
Additionally, Evans recently appeared in the action-thriller flick “The Gray Man” by Netflix. He starred alongside Ryan Gosling and Ana de Armas in this film. His upcoming project is another action movie called “Red One,” co-headlining Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
Meanwhile, the Sexiest Man Alive previously belonged to Paul Rudd. Coincidentally, he played Ant-Man in MCU and had worked with Evans on several occasions on the premise.
