Nicola Yoon’s The Sun Is Also A Star

This book will undoubtedly draw you into its own world. You can even, maybe – just maybe, finish it in one sitting. The story contains sorcery that will make you unable to take your eyes off the pages. And, you will certainly want more.

Edith Hamilton’s Mythology: Timeless Tales of Gods and Heroes

Do not be afraid of this one. I have seen people fall in love with this after reading it. Not only that, but they became so engrossed in mythology that they began reading the entire Percy Jackson series. So, there’s no harm in trying this one.

National Geographic Kids Almanac 2022

You read that correctly! This is a good starter, especially for kids. It will stimulate thought and broaden one’s horizon. It will spark curiosity which will lead to a desire to read and explore other books.

James Patterson and Liza Marklund’s The Postcard Killers

This crime thriller is not only intense. But, it’s also extremely gripping. It is definitely worth your time! With the grizzly crimes, mind-boggling plot twists, and perfectly-written plot, who knows? You may become obsessed with novels of the same genre!

Meg Cabot’s The Princess Diaries

This is a short read with a small page count. This is a good place to start for tweens and teenagers, particularly girls. It is so humorous and witty that you will want to buy and read all of the books in this epistolary series. Yes, it was adapted in 2001 in the Disney coming-of-age comedy film starring Anne Hathaway and the one and only Julie Andrews.

Remember that finding something you will enjoy reading is an important part of the process! So, look for your perfect pick and enjoy!
