TikTok sensation also informed his fans that he’s not the one behind the translation of the lyrics. He said in the comment section, “Hi guys! I didn’t translate this myself hehe just got it from @seanlonmaun and he did a great job at translating.” He also added,

Just because it’s ‘too literal’ doesn’t mean it’s wrong hehe it also needs to be singable and incorrect rhythm so just imagine the limited words we can use!! Just shows how complex the Filipino language is, dami ding syllables! Hope you enjoyed though!

This January, “Encanto’s” breakout hit became the first Disney song that got hailed at number 2 in the US-based music chart Billboard Hot 100. The last time a Disney song entered the ranking since “A Whole New World.”

Encanto was able to beat WDAS’s Raya and the Last Dragon, Pixar’s Luca, indie documentary Flee, and others.

According to Disney’s official synopsis, the film “Encanto,” a word that means charm or enchantment in Spanish, “tells the tale of a family called the Madrigals.

Every child but one in their magical house has been granted a unique ability such as strength or healing powers. Mirabel discovers the magic is under threat and she may be the only one able to save it.

Following many common themes in Disney films, Mirabel is a strong-willed girl who steps up when her family needs help. She’s also pushing through any self-doubt about her own worth, only to find out that she’s more special than she thought. She is the only one in her family who did not receive a unique gift.

Mirabel tried to save the magic or “miracle” surrounding her home called “Casa Madrigal” and her extraordinary family, The Madrigals.

Meanwhile, Bruno Madrigal is Mirabel’s uncle who has the ability to see into the future. However, due to the fact that his prophecies are not always positive, he is seen as a blight and ostracized by the village and his family.

We think that JMKO is quite talented and his rendition of this popular song is on point.
