Tamaraws the modern virtual conquerors: One Concert PIYU goes ONLINE

The most-awaited virtual concert of the Far Eastern University 93rd Foundation Anniversary went online. One Concierto Piyu is the annual concert and celebration ender of the Green and Gold. The present circumstance did not serve as a hindrance for the FEU Central Student Organization in providing the Tamaraws their best virtual experience.

The lead performers of One Concierto Piyu are the homegrown talents who truly owned the stage while performing for the Green and Gold community. One Concierto Piyu would not be successful without  FEU Makati Balanse, IAS Sessionistas, IABF Powerband, One Piyu Music, ITHM Music Makers,IARFA Pastorale and IE Band. In fact, they have performed throwback music, and original compositions dedicated to manifest and express their call to break barriers and catalyze change.

Apart from showing the youth’s firepower, the appearance of the special guests spiced up the hype of the event. In the same way, the performers wanted to impart their message, the video greetings provided by the special guests served as an avenue for the Tamaraws to be enlightened with the power of uniting voices and communal action, specifically being able to register and vote before the upcoming 2022 National Elections. Of course, this would not be possible without Rep. Sarah Elago, Dr. Gia Sison, Sir Renz Saavedra, Ms. Samira Gutoc, Sassa Girl and The Juans.

On the other hand, it will not be a success without achieving the aim to conduct a fundraising event for the chosen beneficiaries; Tulay Philippines and Tulay Tuloy Eskwelahan. In these challenging times, it is important to continue contributing to a more accessible mode of learning and education for all. Moreover, a P100.00 load and prepaid WiFi giveaway were as well directed to help fellow Tamaraws in attending their online classes.
