Sunspell is a jewelry brand that creates and curates pieces that are water, sweat, and tarnish-resistant. Established in 2021, the brand has released various collections with pieces ranging from basic to playful that can easily elevate a look. It is made for golden girls (and boys!) who love to be under the sun, swim at the beach or pool, and do different kinds of physical activities.
All pieces are made out of stainless steel and undergo a special 18K gold coating process called the Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) Method. Using this method makes the jewelry more durable and more resistant to oxidation and rust. The color will not fade, and your skin won’t turn green.
“I love the beach and I love wearing accessories so when I discovered that this type of jewelry exists when I was traveling abroad, I was pleasantly surprised. I never thought I’d stumble into elegant pieces that were non-tarnish, hypoallergenic, and affordable, and I didn’t have to take them off when I swim, take a bath, or workout. That inspired me to create Sunspell so I can create and design accessories for those who love to complete a look with pieces they never have to take off whenever they sweat or swim,” says Rosanna Aranaz, Founder.
Sunspell has necklaces, earrings, bracelets, rings, and anklets. Golden girls can also opt to have their jewelry customized and personalized with their choice of danglers, ranging from initials to fun, playful shapes. The brand occasionally releases other goods too, such as mini totes, macrame bags, terry towel bucket hats, and crocheted hats. The price starts at P395.
The Heatwave Collection – made for golden days
Apart from daily staples, Sunspell has been releasing themed collections for the past years. To start off another year with new designs to watch out for, the brand released its Coquette Collection in February. It has pieces that pay homage to the romance of ballet. With summer coming, another collection is set to launch soon – the Heatwave Collection.
This 40-piece collection consists of gold and silver jewelry. They are meant to be worn at the beach, at the gym, and in whatever activity in between. “It is made with high quality materials so it won’t lose its shine or color. It won’t irritate your skin too, so it can be worn all the time. These are pieces that complement your daily OOTDs and handle your toughest workouts. It also adds that extra bling to whatever you do and wherever you go,” adds Aranaz.
