Studio Ghibli fan? Watch out for this theme park in Japan!
Heads up, children at heart! In case you missed it, animation house Studio Ghibli recently teased their upcoming theme park—Ghibli Park.
According to their website, the park is being built on and within the grounds of Aichi Earth Expo Memorial Park (Moricoro Park) in Japan. Unlike most amusement parks, there will be no big attractions or rides.
The park’s aim is for everyone to “take a stroll, feel the wind, and discover the wonders.”

Also stated on the website is a little background on the park’s construction. The first phase included the “Ghibli’s Grand Warehouse,” “Hill of Youth,” and “Dondoko Forest.”
“The Grand Warehouse is an indoor facility that stores all of the studio’s secrets, from large to small artifacts and exhibits from past movies,” they said.
The Hill of Youth and Dondoko-do are must-see attractions as well!

Additionally, teased on the website are two upcoming attractions: the “Valley of Witches” and “Mononoke Village.”
Less on the rides and more on wandering and exploring, this theme park is definitely a place worth traveling to! A must on everyone’s bucket lists!
