Sheena Halili is now married with non-showbiz boyfriend

GMA Network star Sheena Halili tied the know with her non-showbiz partner, Jeron Manzanero, in a star-studded ceremony at The Blue Leaf Cosmopolitan in Quezon City on Sunday, February 23. The exchange of vows was witnessed by their family and friends, including celebrities from ABS-CBN and GMA Network.

Star-Studded Wedding

Among the guests who came to witness their special day were Sheena’s friends including Maine Mendoza, Camille Prats, Jolina Magdangal, Jennylyn Mercado, and Marian Rivera. Pasig Mayor Vico Sotto, Regine Velasquez, Ogie Alcasid, Glaiza de Castro, Katrina Halili, Ria Atayde, Joyce Pring, and Juancho Trivino were also there to celebrate with the couple.

The couple got engaged back in 2018, when he proposed to her at a cinema in Greenhills. Sheena and Jeron were introduced to each other through a blind date set by assistant director Carlo Kanu.

“Si Direk Kanu, Asst. Director sa GMA, lumalabas-labas kami, magkakapit-bahay kami sa Quezon City, parang ‘Uy, kain naman tayo sa labas, coffee naman tayo.’

“Tapos, one time, bigla ko na lang sinabi, ‘Sige pa-date mo na ako. I’m ready,'” Sheena shared in an interview with PEP.

At that time, Jeron was still studying law in the United States. In fact, their first few dates were all done only electronically, either through FaceTime or Skype. Two months after, the two finally met when he arrived in the Philippines.
