Samsung finally reveals the Galaxy Note20 series!
Who among you guys love huge and clear displays on their devices? Well, you might have to ready your wallets! South Korean tech giant officially unveiled the new Galaxy Note20 and Note20 Ultra during a virtual launch. Both of them come with an Exynos 990 chipset, up to 12GB RAM, and 256GB of storage.
What’s the difference between Galaxy Note20 and Note20 Ultra?
According to Samsung, they designed the Galaxy Note20 family for Life Maximizers, those who demand the highest performance. Meanwhile, the company created the S-series is for social expression. Similar to the Note10, this series consists of two flagship devices.
Samsung Note20 features a flat 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O display. Under the hood, this is powered by a 7nm Exynos 990 SoC, 8GB RAM, and 256GB built-in memory. Also, the manufacturer packs it with a 4300mAh battery and a 45W fast charging support via USB Type-C. At the back of Note20 is a triple rear camera set-up of a 12MP main camera, 64MP telephoto camera, and 12MP ultra-wide camera that supports up to 30x Space Zoom.
As for the Note20 Ultra, it boasts a huge 6.9-inch WQHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2.0 Infinity-O display. Its screen also has an Adaptive 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. It has the same internals as the Note20 but it has a bigger battery of 4,500mAh. At the back of this device, you can find a 108MP main camera, 12MP telephoto camera, 12MP Ultra-wide camera. It also includes a Depth Vision sensor with a new Laser AF system. Samsung said that this new laser AF system significantly improves the AF of the cameras that became an issue with S20 Ultra. It supports up to 50x Space Zoom. The cameras can record up to 8K at 24fps in both 16:9 and 21:9 aspect ratio. Like the S20 Ultra, the Note20 family features Pro Photo and Pro Video modes.
Both Note20 and [Note20] Ultra have a 10MP front-facing camera on the punch hole, IP68 water, and rust resistance certification. Samsung equipped both of them with an In-display Ultra-Sonic Fingerprint scanner, Stereo Speakers, Wireless Charging, Wireless PowerShare, Wireless Dex, and the S Pen.
The new S Pen is still connected by Bluetooth but has been improved with 9ms of latency compared to the Note10’s 42ms of latency.
The Galaxy Note20 LTE will have a retail price of PHP 53,990 while Samsung will sell the Note20 Ultra LTE for PHP 67,990. As for the Note20 Ultra 5G, you can purchase it for PHP 72,990.
Both smartphones will come here officially on August 21, 2020.
