Regine Velasquez to return in style with upcoming album ‘Reginified’
Regine Velasquez will claim a musical comeback as she reveals a series of new ventures she has in store, including a new album, Reginified.
In a report by ABS-CBN News, Regine chanced on a live stream on Tuesday to announce some of her major music pursuits for this year. One notable is a new album launch, marking a significant six-year gap since she introduced R3.0 in 2017.
Meanwhile, the songbird teased her fans by unveiling the title of the upcoming release.
“I just want to let you guys know that I will be recording a new album under Star [Music], and it’s going to be called– actually, nanggaling ‘to sa inyo eh, Reginified. So, watch out for that!”
Additionally, reports suggest that the album will include tracks the audience has already heard or has become well-acquainted with. The selection may comprise Regine’s previous covers in her former concerts or her past performances on ASAP Natin ‘To.

On the other hand, Regine expressed her gratitude to the supporters who gave her the label. “Thank you for the title Reginified. We’re using that actually,” she remarked.
The term that is the basis of her upcoming album was in fact derived from a moniker used by fans. Although there is no exact definition, it could reflect Regine’s singing prowess and a homage to her revered status as Asia’s Songbird.
Alongside her highly-anticipated album, Regine confirmed an electrifying concert slated for November. She promised an enthralling performance dedicated to rock music.
“I’ll see you guys in November! Pwede ko na yatang sabihin [na] Regine Rocks ‘yung title. So, ibig sabihin mga rock songs ito. I’ve never done a concert like that kasi usually kakanta ako ng a few rocks songs but not the whole concert,” she said.
Regine continued, “Pwedeng mga songs ko, gawing rock. [Or] I will be singing some popular rock songs. [At] may mga ballad na rock din naman. It’s exciting!”
Presently, Regine is one of the hosts for the morning talk show Magandang Buhay. She also concluded a concert tour in February.
