POCO officially introduced its new flagship killer, the POCOPHONE F2!
The much-awaited flagship killer has finally arrived as the company launched POCOPHONE F2 last night. Although the brand is no longer a subsidiary of Xiaomi, it was able to sustain the legacy of the POCOPHONE F1. It highlights a premium chipset, long-lasting battery, and an immersive display. This smartphone also has extra cool features that most smartphones do not have yet. Let’s take a quick look!
What made the POCOPHONE F2 a powerful and cool device?
POCOPHONE F2 Pro has the same 3D curved Gorilla Glass 5 back of K30 Pro, but this one has four stunning colors to choose from Neon Blue, Phantom White, Electric Purple, and Cyber Grey.
You’ll see in front that the device boasts of a 6.7-inch 3D curved Gorilla Glass 5 protected Super AMOLED screen. Also, this notch-less display has HDR10+, Widevine L1 certification, and TÜV Rheinland certification for eye care.
Inside, POCOPHONE F2 utilizes a 7nm Snapdragon octa-core flagship chipset that has a dedicated 5G modem and Adreno 650 GPU. In terms of performance, POCO says that the POCO F2 Pro was able to achieve an AnTuTu score of 589,983. The flagship killer was able to surpass the performance of high-end phones such as Samsung S20 Plus and OnePlus 8 Pro.
The POCOPHONE presenter explained briefly that flagship devices tend to overheat because of the processor inside. That’s why the company included a LiquidCool Technology 2.0 with NTC heat sensors in their latest device. Allegedly, this can detect the source of heat, and includes multi-layer graphite, graphene, Super VC, and VC better overall cooling.
Moreover, a beefy 4,700mAh battery power this mobile phone. POCO partnered this battery with a USB-C 30W fast charging that can fully charge the phone from 0 to 100 percent in 63 minutes.
The said specs and features made the POCO F2 Pro as the company’s first device with TÜV Rheinland high gaming performance certification. As a result, they claimed that there would be no lagging even you’re multi-tasking or running several apps simultaneously.
For cameras, POCO highlighted that it uses a 64MP Sony IMX686 main camera with a 13MP ultra-wide camera, an 8MP telemacro sensor for zoom shots with great details, and a 2MP depth sensor. In front, selfie-lovers can enjoy its 20MP shooter. In addition to that, it features interesting camera modes like portrait video and slow-motion selfies.
Pricing and availability
The POCOPHONE F2 is going to be sold in two variants: 6GB/128GB that costs 499 euros whereas the 8GB/256GB is priced at 599 euros. It is globally available at Gearbest and other stores soon will arrive online through Shopee and Lazada. For more details, check POCO’s official Facebook account.
