Perla del Mar de Oriente Kicks Off in New York

The Queen of Hearts Foundation, Inc. (Philippines), headed by Madam Ma. Mitzie Gil, with the Partnerships for Sustainable Development, Inc. (USA), launches “Inclusivity in Diversity” –an advocacy program that embodies PSDI’s mission of bringing global awareness, deep understanding, and great appreciation of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations, namely:

No Poverty, Zero Hunger, Good Health and Well-Being, Quality Education, Gender Equality, Clean Water and Sanitation, Affordable and Clean Energy, Decent Work and Economic Growth, Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, Reduced Inequalities, Sustainable Cities and Communities, Responsible Consumption and Production, Climate Action, Life below Water, Life on Land, Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, Partnerships for the Goals).

Also, with  Project Collaborators : Top Model of the World USA, Inc., The Philippine Consulate, New York City, Philippine Department of Tourism, Philippine Department of Trade and Industry, the launch of the Global  Search for the UN SDGs Ambassadors – the LuzViMinda Cultural Fashion to be directed by international fashion director Nilo Agustin will be featuring the  designs of young fashion designer Sophia Manimbo (known for her “Summer Pandanggo” capsule collection-inspired by Philippine dances and festivities in her signature collage patchwork):

Paris-trained Filipino international designer Amir Sali (mastered haute couture in Paris, the Prince of Beads in the Philippines, Creative Director of House of Amir Sali, catered to the royal family of the Kingdom of  Saudi Arabia for 18 years, and a favorite of Hollywood celebrities and business tycoons); Sophistication, Glamour and Luxury  define Filipino Fashion Icon Albert Andrada, who also enjoys a huge following in the social media community; with official photographer Jun Muga.

The Philippine Cultural Heritage Show will be on October 15, 6 in the evening, at the Grand Ballroom, Renaissance Newark Airport Hotel, of course, for the benefit of  “Meals on Wheels” – a charity program of the City Government of New Jersey, and “Kisame para sa Bahay ni San Jose”- a donation appeal of Father Elmer Villamayor, for the construction of the roofing of St. Joseph the Husband of Mary Church, Bangad, Cabanatuan City, and the tree-nurturing and waste management projects of Father Benigno P.
