OPPO extends the warranty for repair and replacement

Smartphones with warranty ending on March 9, 2020, up to the last day of the COVID-19 will get an extension of two months. This extension will cover services like screen repairs, hardware and software tune-ups, and other parts defects. According to the tech manufacturer, the extended warranty is applicable to all devices and accessories.

Moreover, customers who bought OPPO devices from March 1 to 20 are entitled to extended product replacement. This is effective up to 7 days after the end of the quarantine period. The service center will require documents and proofs for claims on factory defects. This is to make sure that the product is under an extended period.

After that, an OPPO service center representative will be in charge of those inspected and approved gadgets. The extension also covers devices with an Inspection Order from February 20 to March 20, 2020.

In addition to that, dealers should not worry since OPPO is stating that they may return the defective devices until May 20 this year.

Note that all OPPO service centers in the Philippines, except for Davao and CDO, are not operating. But if you have an immediate concern, you can reach them through their hotline from 9 AM to 9 PM. They have toll-free numbers for PLDT/Smart/Sun subscribers.
