Lyca talks about selling house and lot prize

In the vlog, Karen interviewed Lyca about her humble beginnings leading to her The Voice: Kids triumph and her life after winning the talent competition. Then, Gairanod revealed that she sold the house and lot she won as a prize in the Kapamilya show because her grandmother preferred to live in their old house in Tanza, Cavite.

She, then, bought a smaller house near her grandmother’s. So, she can be with her and prefers a simpler lifestyle living with her family. She said,

She explained that she cherished the house she won. Yet, she said her grandmother was more important to her, moving her to move back to the place she grew up in. Gairanod explained,

The 16-year-old star has since risen in the music scene, but moved to other crafts like acting, starring in the 2014 family drama series Hawak Kamay and Maalaala Mo Kaya.  Last 2017, she joined the first edition of Your Face Sounds Familiar: Kids. Gairanod is also active as a YouTube vlogger, currently having over 1.51 million subscribers.
