Khryss Go is in fighting form in her Miss Aura International national costume
When it comes to competing in beauty pageants, Filipinas are notorious for one thing in particular: they never show up unprepared. Take Miss Aura Philippines 2023, Khryss Go for example.
As the country’s ticket in winning its second Miss Aura International crown, Khryss has been doing a mighty fine job at this year’s competition. Undeniably becoming quite the threat, this is a result of her consistent performance and flawless appearance in every aspect.
Evoking her strong desire to represent the country to the best of her ability, Khryss embodies a legendary Filipina warrior for her national costume.

Designed by well-known designer Edwin Uy, the costume takes inspiration from Princess Urduja, a notable warrior princess from Pangasinan. Brave, beautiful, and intelligent, she is known to be a good fighter, personally leading her warriors into battles.
Draping in gold, the ensemble features an intricate bodysuit that comes with a complimenting gladiator strap for the shoes. The set also includes a headpiece, shield, and sword.
According to Khryss, this is meant to pay homage to the country’s rich culture and royal heritage.
Miss Aura International 2023 will be taking place on September 29 in Antalya, Turkey.
With only a week to go before the finals, we are confident that Khryss will be giving us a very good fight. Just like Princess Urduja, she definitely will aim for nothing but success.
