Since the pageant’s inception in 2016, the Philippines has yet to advance past the first cut at Mister Supranational. Hoping to break the curse and make history, Filipino representative Johannes Rissler made a strong showing during the preliminary competition.

Mister Supranational will stage its 2023 finals on July 15 in Nowy Sącz, Poland. Johannes will aim to succeed Luis Daniel Gálvez of Cuba and become the first Filipino to win the crown.
