It takes a lot of experiences to build a ‘stronger self’

stronger self

Just like any other worthwhile thing, a stronger self would also take a lot of time and experience to attain that phase. There will be people who are already considered strong because they were born that way.  I say we’re all able to become stronger and wiser. But we cannot skip the suffering phase, it’s part of the process. There will be tears, heartbreaks, and numerous hurtful things that may happen. In the end, you can trust the process.

It takes a lot of experience to build a ‘stronger self’

Most of the experiences will challenge your sanity. You will experience hitting rock bottom, crying all night, until you can attain the stronger version of yourself. Here’s why:

You have already experienced all the worst things that could possibly happen to a person. That being said would make you fearless in taking more risks and standing up for what you think is right. Moreover, becoming an alpha was never easy because you may need to become submissive first.

In my experience, I used to blindly obey what the elders will say whether it’s against my will or not. And that challenged my decision-making skills as I grow up because I know that we have been given different minds for a reason. You cannot always obey, you need to at least think about it before doing it because of the possible effects.

Furthermore, building a stronger self means you’re building a strong backbone of your beliefs supported by facts. Having your own vision that you personally seen and experienced would become another foundation of your strength.

Given that we will suffer before becoming strong, it’s okay to hit rock bottom and having nothing but ourselves. We will go through different phases that would teach us a lesson that we can use someday.

“The good thing about hitting rock bottom, there’s only one way left to go and that’s UP!” – from the movie Sing

Acknowledge those sufferings and take the morals that you can learn.

Always strive in becoming the better you. You can thank the experiences and let karma take care of the people who let you suffer that way. Stay sane and empowered!
