GMA artists bag nominations at the 33rd Awit Awards!
Another testament to their outstanding talents, Kapuso artists received several nominations in various categories in the upcoming and highly-anticipated 33rd Awit Awards.
Dream team Rita Daniela and Ken Chan, popularly known as RitKen, are vying for recognition as their song “Almusal” is nominated as the Best Novelty Recording.
The Clash Season 1 champion Golden Cañedo’s “Tayo Pa Rin” is a finalist under the Best Dance Recording category. Her fellow Clasher Garrett Bolden also has the chance to be given the Best Performance by a New Male Recording Artist award for his song, “Handa Na Maghintay.”
Aside from being judged by esteemed professionals in the music industry, four Kapuso singers fall under the People’s Voice category where winners will be determined via text votes. Electronic voting will end on August 29, 2020 at 12 NN.
Meanwhile, Kyryll Ugdiman’s single with GMA Music entitled “Silent Rumblings” gets nominated as the Best Performance by a New Female Recording Artist.
Anthony Rosaldo, on the other hand, eyes the Favorite Breakthrough Artist award. Meanwhile, his fellow competitor in The Clash Jong Madaliday is nominated twice for his single, “Ano Ba” for the categories Best Performance by a New Male Recording Artist and Best Dance Recording.
