Filming of MayWard “Heart to Heart” TV series has been postponed

MayWard

Earlier this year, ABS-CBN announced that the power love team of MayWard will be starring in its first full-length TV series Heart To Heart. Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber recently worked together in the weekend TV series Hiwaga ng Kambat, which they won as Love Team of the Year at the VP Choice Awards 2019.

In the recent interview with PUSH.com, it was revealed that the filming of their upcoming TV series has been postponed. Maymay said that the show, which requires some scenes to be shot in Japan, had to halt filming due to COVID-19 travel restrictions.

Mayward is more than ready

Despite the postponement, Maymay said she is more than ready to take on her new role in the said show.

On the other hand, Edward said there’s no need to rush things, adding they’ll do whatever it takes to give their fans what they deserve. “So let’s just see what happens. Pray for it. I’m sure things will be fine. But it’s just a little bit of a pause muna. Re-evaluate. Kasi it’s not something to rush,” he added.

“For me, I wanna do more work. Pero of course, we’ll do everything that we can to help it push through. And give everyone what we’ve said they’re getting,” he emphasized.

There is no further details regarding the resumption of their production. For the mean time, MayWard is busy with their acting workshops and Japanese lessons in preparation for their TV series.

Though na-cancel po ‘yung first taping day namin. Kasi ang pagkakaalam nila first taping namin is ‘yung Friday.

Kesa magbabago-bago. So ‘yun. I think it’s close.

Asked if the series will still push through with its slated 2020 release, Edward answered: “99 percent.
