Colleen Hoover confirms ‘It Ends With Us’ sequel — ‘It Starts With Us’
Finally, our favorite author Colleen Hoover announced the release of her upcoming book It Starts With Us, the sequel to the #1 New York Times Bestselling novel It Ends With Us. It will feature the story of Lily and Atlas, after the tragic events that happened between Lily and ex-husband Ryle.
According to Colleen Hoover, via her Instagram, this book will “in no way redeem Ryle” and will focus on Lily and Atlas’ points of view.
The book is still unfinished at the moment so Colleen can’t provide the narrative and character arcs for the fans. It is set to be released on October 18, 2022.
It Starts With Us is CoHo’s second book this year, after Reminders of Him.
Along with fans, fellow authors also expressed their anticipation for the book.
E.L. James, author of the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy, commented on CoHo’s Facebook post.
Kami Garcia, young adult fiction and DC Comics writer, also shared her excitement on CoHo’s IG post.
This long-awaited sequel has been begged for by CoHo’s fans because of Atlas’ short exposure in the first book. The character is a favorite of many because of his devotion to Lily’s character. Many people applauded his heroism, although in reality, it’s considered the bare minimum.
Nevertheless, the tale of Lily and Atlas’ romance is one thing to look out for in October. I can’t wait ’til the book drops! [squeals in excitement]
