A future update will bring Huawei‘s own voice assistant, Celia, to its Huawei Watch GT 2 Series. According to Duan Mengran, director of Huawei smartwatch division and all scenario solution, Celia will arrive in the Watch Gt 2 series this year.
“In a few months, we are going to bring Celia, our smart assistant to the smartwatch.” – Duan Mengran
The Huawei Watch GT 2 and GT 2e are some of the best smartwatches in the market today. These devices pack numerous features for health, sleep, and fitness tracking. Adding Celia to the Huawei Watch GT 2 series makes sense because these smartwatches have built-in microphone and speakers in their body. This will make it easier for users to get things done.
Huawei announced Celia with the Huawei P40 series earlier this year. It’s part of EMUI 10.1 software which is currently rolling out to more Huawei devices. Today, Huawei smartphones running EMUI 10.1 in the Philippines have Celia disabled. We are still waiting for the update to roll out to enable this feature.
