Maja Salvador sends food packs to frontliners
After Angel Locsin, Maine Mendoza, Bela Padilla, and Pia Wurtzbach, award-winning actress Maja Salvador joined the growing number of celebrities who have shown support and gratitude to frontline workers who have been working tirelessly in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.
On Thursday, April 2, comedian Pooh revealed that Maja sent out food to frontliners at the Metro Antipolo Hospital and Medical Center in Antipolo, Rizal. Of course, he shared photos of the donation on Instagram.
“Thank you to my beautiful anak na si Maja para sa pag-support sa pagbigay ng food sa ating nga frontliners. God bless you more… Wab you!” he wrote.
In fact, Maja has funded breakfast and lunch meals for the frontliners.
Moreover, other the local celebrities who are helping frontliners amid this pandemic include Marian Rivera, Dingdong Dantes, Judy Ann Santos, KC Concepcion, Kylie Verzosa, Jake Cuenca and Heart Evangelista.
As of yesterday, April 1, Philippines has recorded 2,311 confirmed cases of COVID, with 96 deaths and 50 recoveries.
