Gawad Sining to show quality independent films — you shouldn’t miss it

Gawad Sining Film Festival is here! The country’s filmmakers and actors are unstoppable, and continuously glowing into something that we should be very proud of!

The 2019 Gawad Sining Film Festival (GSFF) sets to showcase its newest seven independent film entries. The event will take place on December 16 and 18 at Cine Adarna in University of the Philippines Film Institute (UPFI) Film Center from 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM.

Entries

The entries that made to this year’s film festival are — Sabado, Ampunan, Sa Mga Sulok Ng Pangarap, Ikot-Ikot, Alas-Siete, Tuptop, and Pagsubok. In fact, trailers are posted on their official Facebook page.

Established in 2017, it aims to bring countless local films to life on screen produced by talented and excellent local filmmakers. GSF also serves as a platform among filmmakers and actors to showcase what they got in producing quality independent films. On the other hand, Onin Estrella as the Festival Director and Heaven Itoralba as Project Director. Plus, UP Cinema Arts Society President Nate Dorego and other hardworking teams. Of course, GSFF will give you a new taste of quality independent films that are a must-watch. You should not miss this chance!

Meanwhile, the awarding ceremony for the film festival will be on December 18, Wednesday also at the UPFI Cine Adarna.
