FRESH TAKES: Creatives Empowering Each Other Through Shared Experiences and Insights


Creatives, students, and enthusiasts are invited to join FRESH TAKES: Novice Creative Talks + Peer Portfolio Review. An event designed to foster growth through the exchange of fresh perspectives and experiences. Bringing together the next generation of Filipino talent, it offers a unique space for collaboration, learning, and inspiration.
As the closing event for the extended SPOTLIGHT: The Exhibit at Convenience Coffeehouse. FRESH TAKES will take place on October 26, 2024, from 1 PM to 5 PM at Common Room PH – Mess Studio, Atrium Makati.
Organized by Novice, FRESH TAKES features talks from four emerging local talents who will share their creative journeys, insights, and practical advice for young artists. Attendees will also have the rare chance to engage in a peer portfolio review, receiving valuable feedback in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Featured Speakers:
- Redd Victor Banogon (Reddsiram) – Student, Graphic Artist, and Illustrator from iAcademy, known for blending Filipino urban culture with fantasy elements.
- Ivan Pasion (Ibayan) – Digital Artist and BA Communications student from PLM, whose nostalgic works highlight everyday Filipino life.
- Timy Santos – Non-binary Visual Artist, Brand Designer with a Fine Arts background from EARIST, focusing on experiences and social issues.
- Kaira Cooper – Graphic Designer and Illustrator from the University of Santo Tomas, specializing in visual storytelling and brand identity creation.
