Meet the winners of Misters of Filipinas 2023

As it celebrates a decade-long-run in the Philippine pageant industry, Misters of Filipinas crowns seven dashing and exceptional gentlemen as winners of its 10th anniversary edition.

The pageant’s grand coronation night took place on September 17 at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater in Makati City. Continuing with its tradition of showcasing masculinity with responsibility, the competition featured 34 candidates from across both the Philippines and the world.

Considered as one of the largest national male pageants in the country, Misters of Filipinas consistently delivers in producing high-caliber representatives. Reaching the same level of aggression and competitiveness that many of its local and international counterparts are currently experiencing.

Definitely a strong batch that is worth keeping an eye on, here’s a closer look at the reigning kings of Misters of Filipinas 2023.

Man of the World Philippines 2023: Kenneth Vincent Cabungcal

Bagging home the top crown, Kenneth Vincent Cabungcal of Negros Oriental is named as Man of the World Philippines 2023. He succeeds last year’s titleholder and Man of the World 2023 2nd runner-up James Reggie Vidal.

A 23-year-old Model and Sales Ambassador, Kenneth earned his degree in Civil Engineering at the Siliman University in Dumaguete. Currently studying for the board exams, this may need to wait as he gets ready for his competition next year.

Mister Fitness Supermodel World Philippines 2023: Godfrey Nikolai Murillo

A fan-favorite since the beginning, Godfrey Nikolai Murillo certainly did not let his fans down as he successfully won the title of Mister Fitness Supermodel World Philippines 2023.

The charming 20-year-old is studying BS Tourism Management and hopes to be a pilot someday. Hailing from Pampanga, Nikolai is also a sports buff and loves playing basketball and boxing.

Mister Teenager Universe Philippines 2023: Llyod Figueras

Being chosen as the first Mister Teenager Universe Philippines is definitely a fantastic news for radio broadcast journalist Llyod Figueras. Bound for Bali, Indonesia in March, he will compete at the pageant’s inaugural edition.

Coming from Laoag City, Ilocos Norte, Llyod also works as a model and brand ambassador. A recent senior high school graduate, his passions include participating in many community engagements, particularly around his home province.

Mister Tourism and Culture Universe Philippines 2023: Drei Arias

Its second times a charm for Drei Arias of Malolos, Bulacan as he is off to compete in his second international competition. Flying to Myanmar for Mister Tourism and Culture Universe, he is hoping to elevate his chances by bringing home a win.

In 2019, Drei first represented the Philippines at Mister Culture World Ambassador where he finished first runner-up. Familiar with how it feels to be in the spotlight, the 26-year-old is an actor, receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater Arts.

Mister Manhunt Star Philippines 2023: RJ De Vera

After being in the local and national pageant scene for quite a while, this time is definitely the time for RJ De Vera. Finally obtaining the right to carry the Philippine flag, he does so with a big responsibility on his back.

Vying for a back-to-back win at Man Hot Star International 2023, he is aiming to succeed fellow Filipino, Jovy Bequillo. Using his past experiences as an advantage, the hunk from Gerona, Tarlac is surely hungry for victory. He will be competing this November in Thailand.

The Runners-Up

Brent Dalman and James Harvey Lajos, who placed first and second runner-up, completes this year’s winning circle.

Representing the pageant powerhouse of Cebu in the national stage, Brent is 21 years old and is a student at FEATI University. An aspiring pilot, his hobbies include exploring places and dwelling into nature.

Meanwhile, James – who is also 21 – comes from Batangas and is a 4th-year Communication Arts student from the Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Lipa. A model and performer, he enjoys singing and playing basketball.

Both young and determined, these two definitely has the potential to succeed should they compete again in the future.
