Heart campaigns for individuality as she takes over the Balmain FW show
Heart Evangelista took it to Instagram Reel as she empowers others to be exactly just as themselves!
Our very own fashion icon has recently been sharing reels to take us to the various fashion shows she’s been attending. And the recently concluded Balmain Fall Winter Show 2022 is no different, although somehow, it is.
Instead of the usual getting-ready Reels we’ve been seeing a lot of, she opened this particular reel with:
“…Ang arte niya. Bakit ba siya laging nakabihis?” (She’s so finicky. Why is she always dressed up?)

Because even though a lot of people look up to Heart’s fashion sense, it’s not a secret that there are still those who see her dressing-up as just ‘arte’. And I’m sure there’s also a good number of people out there who’ve been judged for the same reason – for expressing themselves openly. And to this, speaking from experience, Heart confidently shares an advice:
“All I can say is don’t listen. You do you, and you be you. Express your individuality in every way possible…do anything you want as long as wala kang inaapakan.”
