It felt scary to go out during this COVID-19 pandemic. Everywhere we go and everything we touch seems like a gateway. Especially to a destructive virus that might potentially affect our entire family. Hence, it feels slightly comforting to see a supermarket putting effort into making our spaces safe.

As a push towards safety, customer independence, and efficiency, supermarkets in other parts of the globe have implemented self-checkout services. AllDay has also stayed the course of adopting best practices and technology to serve its customers better.

The supermarket wants to elevate the Filipino grocery experience. They also banners its stores, its aisles, its fresh selections, and a comprehensive international item offering. Currently, AllDay pushes innovation by taking inspiration from the world to excite and delight customers.

Camille Villar, President of the AllValue retail ecosystem, said

AllDay continuously innovates and pushes to outpace the Philippine landscape of supermarkets. In addition to providing a beautiful in-store experience for our customers, our self-service counters are sure to delight, as they are efficient and provide an added layer of safety, especially in this pandemic. We are truly excited to roll this out to our other locations.

Having a self-checkout counter also remains efficient. Especially when talking about safety measures since we still remain in a global health state. Serving both AllDay staff and customers became a dual benefit of the self-service process. Aside from that, this also lessens unnecessary interactions between the customers and cashiers and other personnel.

This effort counts as a step in making transactions more efficient. Customers, on the other hand, can check out at their own pace and make easy transactions, as they can simply grab, check out, and go.
