Brightest Kapuso stars held a no-contact online show as fundraiser
GMA Network did not let the global pandemic COVID-19 get in the way of bringing entertainment and love among its Kapuso fans. Yesterday, they held the first-ever no-contact online show at 12NN with their brightest stars.
Through the official Facebook page, ‘Buong Puso Para Sa Pilipino’ is a live get-together and fundraiser at the same time. It aimed to showcase the talents their artists while seeking help for those heavily affected by this global crisis.
Kapuso Primetime King and Queen Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes join in on the cause. In fact, their youngest son Baby Ziggy also made an adorable appearance in the show.
Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards, Asia’s Pop Diva Julie Anne San Jose, and their fellow ‘All-Out Sundays’ regular performers Aicelle Santos, Christian Bautista, Mark Bautista, Glaiza de Castro, Rita Daniela, Ken Chan, Rayver Cruz, Kyline Alcantara, Miguel Tanfelix, Mavy and Cassy Legaspi, Derrick Monasterio, Kakai Bautista, and The Clash and StarStruck alumni spread good vibes through songs and dance covers.
In fact, even the Comedy Genius Michael V. chose to spend his Sunday afternoon to help!
Other Kapuso artist who were present were Rocco Nacino, Bea Binene, Carla Abellana, Tom Rodriguez, Pops Fernandez, Ruru Madrid, Betong Sumaya, Carmina Villaroel, Zoren Legaspi, and Kristoffer Martin.
Meanwhile, the Network and GMA Kapuso Foundation are still ongoing their call for donations on various platforms. The network wants to maximize what they can give towards the COVID-19 victims and frontliners.
