A first look at James Reid, Nancy McDonie’s ‘Soulmate Project’

Finally, the first look at James Reid and MOMOLAND member Nancy McDonie’s characters for the much-awaited TV Series “Soulmate Project” has just arrived — and it has reached our expectations!

Project co-director Dan Villegas posted a black and white photo of the two lead stars on his IG taken during a photoshoot in a studio on Feb 3.

“Coming soon from @dreamscapeph, @iwantofficial and @project8projects. #TheSoulmateProject. Directed by @tonetjadaone,” the caption reads.

Furthermore, Dreamscape AdProm Head Eric John Salut also posted two separate photos on his IG where the two can be seen wearing the costumes of the characters they are portraying in The Soulmate Project. In fact, he also shared a photo of James and Nancy reading their scripts.

Production company Project 8 also shared a photo of the two with a caption, “Binna and Jayson,” which could possibly be their character names.

Meanwhile, Nancy revealed with ABS-CBN last month that her character will be a Korean-American who lives in the Philippines. For James, no words yet on what his character would be.

Dreamscape first announced the project last October 2019 with iWant and Project 8 leading the production. In fact, it will be directed by no less than Antoniette Jadaone.

The Soulmate Project will be a 13-episode show which will be partly shot in Korea and the Philippines. The TV series will be Nancy’s debut in acting both in the Philippines and her homeland in South Korea.
