World of Warcraft: Forever — Everything to Know Before Launch

Many players want to reach the level cap before the crowds do. A WoW Forever boost can shorten that climb and open the first group dungeons sooner. Before picking a plan, it helps to see what this release actually changes.
A Timeline of Its Own
The story takes place during the first year of the original game. It is out of the recent timeline, which Blizzard employees refer to as a little bubble in time. That option leaves authors with space to narrate stories that the ancient campaign did not address.
Classic veterans will recognize the slower pace and the demanding group content. Still, this project is far from a museum piece or a nostalgia trip. Blizzard uses the original world as a base and constructs new content on it. The level limit is here to stay, and the next patches should include locations, raids, and equipment rather than a new race. Access is included in a regular subscription, and no additional box is required.
New Lands to Level Through
Several large regions arrive together with the new version of the game. The new race begins on Zephras Isle, and Shadowgale Forest is reportedly found there. The Riverglades is a broad eastern valley filled with mid-level character quests. Shen’dralas conceals itself between Mulgore and Desolace and connects to the past of Highborne. Mount Hyjal is an endgame zone that is reintroduced following the defeat of Archimonde.
New routes and new quests are also introduced to older zones using familiar terrain. During climbing, a character may combine old and new areas. That diversity makes a second or third run not repetitive.
Skyborne Elves and Unusual Pairings
The Skyborne are wind-touched elves who are descendants of exiled high elves. They choose a side themselves, unlike other races, and can join either side. It is available through paid launch packs, beginning at $29.99.
Blizzard also introduces some unexpected race and class combinations in the first place. Gnome Priests, Orc Mages, and Undead Paladins are all now possible. The lore is already discussed by fans, with one rumor that Forsaken Paladins experience pain when casting Holy Light.
Systems Built for Alts
The Legacy system is a reward solution that rewards players who re-climb with new characters. Difficulties in all professions, PvP, dungeons, and raids earn points that unlock account-wide benefits. Reputations have become similar. Thus, a grind can benefit future characters. Professions have been redesigned, and a new camping option provides rest points in the open world. These systems render a second character to be a real step forward.
Dungeons, Raids, and Rumors
New dungeons have been added to all levels of bracket, such as Hall of Thanes, City of Dalaran, and the outdoor Kroldok Stronghold. Ruins of Lordaeron and the Wetlands excavation site join them.
Barrow Deeps and Hyjal Summit are two new raids that will be placed next to the traditional Onyxia encounter. PvP fans have an added value with a new battleground on the Darkspear Islands.
Plenty of rumors are spreading through the community as well. Posts by developers suggest a massive endgame dungeon, potentially called Blackmaw Hold, and a lengthy list of bosses. There is also datamined evidence of a massive legendary quest chain that will happen next spring. Consider these leaks as unconfirmed until Blizzard makes an official statement on the issue.
What the Beta Revealed
In early October, Blizzard increased the maximum level of beta, allowing players to test additional zones. Streams attracted hundreds of thousands of viewers, and the login systems were reportedly overwhelmed by the rush. Blizzard reacted promptly by increasing capacity on the test servers.
The controller support is under test, and loot protection against long streaks of bad luck is said to be under test. Certain fans have complained that new Skyborne druid models are too modern, and the team has allegedly vowed to make them softer.
How to Prepare
The first week will be busy, and the most popular areas will be occupied fast. Begin by selecting a class and determining whether the Skyborne race is worth the additional price. Then locate a leveling group, as it is quicker to run dungeons with friends. Gold is also important for training, mounts, and profession materials. Players who have fewer evenings usually order professional services to achieve the cap earlier.
Why This Release Matters
This launch provides veterans with a new incentive to come back and provides newcomers with a backdoor. It honors the original design and incorporates real stories and systems. November 4 is near, so decide on a class, a group, and a realistic schedule now.
