Sharp Philippines Completed CSR Project to Luzon Communities, Eyes Future Support for Visayas and Mindanao
Sharp Philippines, one of the trusted brands in home appliances, has successfully completed a significant phase of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, aimed on contributing to the well-being of the communities and are committed to continue making a meaningful impact. This initiative has long been part of the company’s mission to not only provide quality products but also supporting local governments and Filipino families in times of need.
In line with this mission, on December 2024, Sharp Philippines has successfully completed its Corporate Social Responsibility Program of providing washing machines to communities across Metro Manila, marking a significant milestone as the company celebrates the production of its 11 millionth washing machine. Sharp delivered 5 washers, 5 dryers, and 1 twin-tub washing machine to 17 areas in Metro Manila, with local government offices receiving the units. These appliances will serve evacuation centers and community programs, ensuring families have access to clean clothes during emergencies.
On October 1, 2024, the City Government of Malabon officially awarded Sharp Philippines for its assistance to the victims of the calamity caused by Typhoon Carina in July 2024. The recognition came during a special ceremony led by Malabon City Mayor, Jeannie Sandoval, who expressed her gratitude for Sharp’s commitment in providing assistance to the local community during times of crisis.

With the completion of this project phase in Luzon, Sharp Philippines is already planning to extend its support to the Visayas and Mindanao regions. Sharp’s efforts and dedication not only drive innovation but also uplift the lives of Filipino families and reach more communities in need, especially those often affected by natural disasters and other emergencies.
