By the time you read this article, you’d better start saving. Samsung Electronics confirmed the release date of the Galaxy Fold 2 and Galaxy S20 (the sequel to the Galaxy S10). It’s on February 11th.
The Korean tech company said on its invitation sent for the media last Sunday that it “will unveil new, innovative devices that will shape the next decade of mobile experiences.” The unveiling of the new devices will happen on Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event in San Francisco at 11 a.m. PT.
In fact, the official unpacked invitation shows two squares instead of the letter “A” in the word “Galaxy”. The first rectangular shape seems to represent the Galaxy S20 – a.k.a Galaxy S11. Moreover, the second and diamond-shaped box appears to be Samsung’s next Galaxy Fold.

However, Samsung hasn’t confirmed yet whether the next Galaxy S will follow the chronological order for its brand name or will jump to S20 since the company has been reportedly focusing on its camera features for this 2020 generation.
Industry watchers say the next Galaxy Fold will increase its portability by folding the screen in half. In fact, this different from the previous one which could be used like a tablet.
