Korea Provides 1,000MT of Rice for victims of super typhoons in Catanduances, Philippines

The Korean government donated 1,000 metric tons of rice to victims of the recent super typhoons in the Philippines. The Korean government’s rice donation was made under the tier 3 program of the ASEAN Plus Three Emergency Rice Reserve (APTERR).

In fact, the Philippine government held a Turnover Ceremony of the 1,000 MT of rice donation from the Korean government at the NFA (National Food Authority)’s Batangas Regional Office on December 18, 2020.

Counsellor Sang-hui Lee attended the Turnover Ceremony and gave a speech acknowledging the Korea-Philippines bilateral relations and cooperation on behalf of Ambassador Dong-man Han, accompanied by First Secretary Seah Park from the Embassy of the Republic of Korea.
