The British ‘girl power’ pop group is coming back once again for a reunion tour next year, but this time, the ‘Posh Spice’ will not be joining them.
The four Spice Girls – Emma “Baby Spice” Bunton, Geri “Ginger Spice” Halliwell Horner, Melanie “Sporty Spice” Chisholm and Melanie “Scary Spice” Brown revealed the details of their upcoming United Kingdom reunion tour in a spoof video via the official Twitter account of the Spice Girls with the hashtags ‘#GirlPower’ and ‘#FriendshipNeverEnds.’
Fashion designer Beckham posted on Instagram on Monday that she wouldn’t join the other four Spice Girls on stage again, but wished the remaining girls good luck for their six-date reunion.
“She’s very excited for us,” said Chisholm on an interview with iHeart Radio. “It’s going to be strange, you know, because none of us can watch the Spice Girls on stage but she will be able to,” she continues.
The six-date tour will be the latest reunion tour for the girl group, after their last reunion tour in 2007-2008 and their London Olympics closing ceremony performance in 2012.
Tickets for the 2019 Spice Girls reunion tour are available on Saturday at 5:30 AM ET.
