Son Ye Jin is 2020’s Most Beautiful Woman in the World

The netizens have spoken! Korean actress Son Ye Jin is hailed as this year’s Most Beautiful Woman in the World by Starmometer. The Crash Landing on You actress garnered almost 14 million votes from people all over the world.

The annual poll is open to women aged 20 to 40 years old of any nationality. Aside from beauty, their criteria included charm as well as the celebrity’s popularity index.

In fact, Son Ye Jin bested 29 semi-finalists, garnering a total of 4,354,037 votes on social media and in the online poll after a month of voting. Meanwhile BLACKPINK‘s Lisa came in second place with 3,852,340 votes. Followed by TWICE‘s Tzuyu with 1,232,298 votes) and Thai actress Urassaya “Yaya” Sperbund  garnering 879,075 votes.

Top 10 also include South Korean actress Song Hye Kyo  with 818,537 votes, and other BLACKPINK members Jisoo (865, 851 votes), Rosé (856,964 votes), and Jennie (524,044 votes). Our very own Liza Soberano is also included with P295,151 votes.

Early this year, Son Ye Jin’s popularity among Filipino viewers had grown exponentially after the success of K-drama Crash Landing on You, with Hyun Bin as her leading man. Prior to this, she also starred in Endless Love: Summer Scent (2003), The Classic (2003), and Something in the Rain (2018).
